Centrifugal pumps with a side channel and a centrifugal rotor before the first step. These pumps are destined to pump liquids in the range of corrosion resistance of materials used in their construction and contain non-abrasive solid particles of size up to 0.5 mm in trace amounts. The SKC pump is designed for operation with an inflow or as a normally suction pump after the installation of a non-return valve on the suction line and absolute flooding with the liquid of the pump and the suction system.

SKC pumps have the ability to pump liquids with a minimum excess pressure over the boiling point. The small NPSHr anti-cavitation stock and very good suction capabilities are the special advantages of these pumps. They are intended for pumping of petroleum fuels and mixtures of liquefied propane and butane, without the participation of the gas phase.

 Technical data:

-Cliquid density - up to 1.3 kg / dm3
-viscosity of the liquid
- up to 150 mm2 / s
-weight - 37.0 ÷ 426.0 kg
-engine power - 0.25 ÷ 30.0 kW
-rotational speed - 1450 rpm (50 Hz) and 1800 rpm (60 Hz)

Construction
SKC type pumps on the suction side have an axial inlet with an increased diameter, and on the discharge side, an outlet led vertically upwards. Before the first stage on the suction side there is a centrifugal impeller and a steering wheel. The pump steps are typical circulating pump steps with side channels and open impellers. Pumps on the pressure side have a ball bearing installed and a corresponding shaft seal. Depending on the intended use and type of the constructional design of the pump, a front seal is used to ensure complete tightness.

The top of seal can be covered and rinsed with pumped liquid or liquid supplied from the outside. For LPG pumps, a special sealant LOCTITE-573 was used between the steps and in other versions - gaskets with a thickness of 0.11 mm. LPG pumps are subjected to special tests for tightness and mechanical strength.
